Brian F. Singh is a pollster and economist with 20 years of experience. He has consulted with regional, national and
international private and public sector clients in a broad range of industry sectors that includes retail and consumer goods, tourism, financial services, the environment, health and wellness and information technology.

Brian is the President of ZINC Research, which he founded in 2006 on the principle of the “triple bottom-line,” and the belief that in today’s world, companies need to have a firm grasp on the social, environmental and economic aspects of their operation and vision for the future. He is also the founder of “The Bridge—Canadians and Social Media” a nationally syndicated study conducted by ZINC Research Inc. in partnership with Dufferin Research. This ongoing study, started in September 2007, tracks online Canadians interest, activity and membership to social networking sites.

Prior to starting ZINC Research, Brian was the Vice-President, Research at a nationally-recognized public opinion firm, was the Market Planner/Research Director at Ontario Tourism, and an Environmental Economist with VHB Research and Consulting.

Brian is a Certified Marketing Research Professional (CMRP), holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics (University of Toronto), and was a PhD candidate in Epidemiology (University of Toronto). Brian has spoken at numerous conferences on social trends and public opinion, and authors ZINC Research’s blog on social media and marketing trends.
